FOSTER NEEDED! CAT FRIENDLY!! Meet Marina & Laken: A Resilient and Loving Bonded Pair in Need of a Forever Home Today, we welcome two incredible girls, Marina and Laken, to UDR. Marina, a red purebred Doberman, and Laken, a tan purebred German Pinscher, have overcome heartbreaking circumstances. These bonded sisters from different mothers, estimated to be around 3–4 years old, were overbred and then cruelly abandoned in a local shelter, emaciated, with poor coats and desperately underweight. Thankfully, a kind shelter worker stepped in, taking them home and giving them the care they desperately needed. After being vetted, spayed, and nursed back to health, these two beautiful souls are now ready for the next chapter of their lives. Marina is the confident, outgoing sister, always ready to explore and make new friends. Laken, on the other hand, is more shy and hesitant, taking her cues from Marina’s bold personality. Together, they balance each other perfectly and provide one another with comfort and security. These two amazing girls love other dogs—and even cats! While they are temporarily in boarding, we urgently need a foster home to keep them together. Can you open your home to this beautiful, bonded pair, or are you interested in adopting them?*
