Adoption Pending! Best in SHOW! This boy is every Doberman owners dream dog, if you don't have cats! He is superb with other dogs, plays nicely at doggy daycare with all dogs, keeps his room clean and is not a Barker. He loves to ride in the car too! Dearest Deuce.... aka, the "hunter", is a young, one year old, very handsome docked, cropped neutered male Doberman. What a lovely little goofball! He is super playful, confident and very happy!!! He is a very nice boy and loves to cuddle with his people, giving you nudges to get some petting time. He has been in a situation that had potentially ended his life, with people who do not understand the Doberman breed. Deuce was literally days from being euthanized. Living with a person who breeds other dogs, they were not prepared for the needs and temperament of a Doberman. Deuce does have a pretty significant prey drive and has gone after cats, rabbits and small animals. He will need a home with physical fencing, preferable 5 feet high or higher so he does not run off when he feels the urge to hunt. Deuce has lived with other ( breeding) dogs who tended to boss him around. Deuce is fully vetted, neutered, chipped and current on vaccines. This boy needs to catch a break and he has now that he will be coming into our rescue! Looking for foster, or foster to adopt situation for this sweet guy. Please contact us if interested! As always fosters have the first chance to adopt.
