We have made the decision that our old man JJ, is now a hospice rescue, meaning he will will remain with UDR's foster home under the care of the rescue, due to health reasons for the remainder of his life. If you would like to help us help support JJ and his foster parents, please consider donating canned senior food, or financial donations to help defray some of his on-going vet care and medications. This poor old guy JJ came to us so very sad after loosing the only home he has known all his 9 years of life. We have promised him he will not have to move again. His time is short, his health is not good. The vets have tried to figure out how to help him best. He is in a safe home filled with love and he will stay there until he chooses to leave. His back story: The family who got him as a puppy, surrendered him at the age of 9, as they felt they no longer had any time for him and felt he would be better off elsewhere.............JJ was in some serious need of vet care. He had not been to the vet in years. JJ was also intact. We hope his heart is not so broken that one day he will love again. As promised he is in a home that loves him in his senior years. Truly a home filled with love and compassion for a senior dog with many health issues that only wants to be loved.
